Material Handler
Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Material Handler performs supply stocking, supply returns and daily material functions. 1. Selects and delivers materials to Medical Center departments. 2. Processes necessary paperwork and computer input for effective supply management. 3. Removes emptied shipping and storage boxes and discards in proper location. 4. Rotates inventory stock for both dated and non-dated supplies to achieve a first in/first out system. 5. Adheres to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies. Working Conditions:
Lifts a minimum of 100 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 300 lbs. and stands a minimum of length of shift. QualificationsEducation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. High school diploma or equivalent. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
1. 1 to 3 years of experience within a distribution and/or warehousing environment. Licenses and Certifications Required:
