30-6 (OT Required) Responsibilities Include:
o Analyzing trial balances of various hedge fund clients and creating financial statements utilizing trial balances o Analyzing detailed investment holdings of hedge fund clients and creating Schedule of Investments utilizing investment holdingso Conforming Schedule of Investments for multiple clients to clients needs/GAAP requirementso Working with IT department improve processes related to preparation of f/s and schedule of investmentso Creating and testing error checks that are internally created within financial statement softwareo Reconciling client schedules with internal schedules (Excel)o Working cooperatively with various fund operation teams to ensure that data used for financial statement preparation is accurate and up to dateo Posting accounting entries to ledger o Working with various products including equities, bonds, swaps, options, FX, mortgages, financing and futures o Preparation of workpaper supporting documents for Schedule of Investments, financial statements, and footnote disclosures Skills and Knowledge Desired:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Systems, or related field o 2
years experience in one of the following areas:
Fund Accounting, Public Accounting, Investment Accounting, and Accounting Systems o Excellent excel, systems and analytical skillso Confluence systems experience a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
