We do this by practicing hospitality, building creative partnerships, marshaling resources and encouraging volunteer efforts.
We seek to provide individual advocacy, guidance and mentoring; address gaps in services; and foster dignity, achievement and independence for each person we serve.
CCCDC operates under the Bergen County Housing Health and Human Services Center, as a collaborative effort to end chronic homelessness using a Housing First model.
The Center acts as a transitional center to move people from homelessness to housing by providing services like temporary shelter, housing placement and support, a wellness program, meals and a day program.
The Engagement Coordinator interacts with homeless individuals and those at risk of homeless onsite at the Bergen County Housing, Health and Human Services Center in Hackensack, NJ.
The incumbent assists shelter guests in completing tasks to become housing ready, as well as life goals.
The Engagement Coordinator is also called upon to assist de-escalate clients experiencing crisis.
Additional duties include supporting shelter oversight and updating client files.
This part-time position is scheduled for 2-3 8 hour shifts weekly.
Additional hours are available if interested.
The ideal candidate will have social work experience or currently studying toward their degree.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
