We are fast growing and have several locations throughout Northern NJ.
We are seeking a medical office patient account representative to fill the seat at the Hackensack office.

The hours are flexible depending on when front desk assistance is needed.
HOURS:
9-5 or 12-8 depending on office needs and/or Saturdays 9-2pm.
Overtime applies when needed beyond 40 hours.
You have paid national holidays, two weeks vacation and sick or personal time of 40 hours.

We are seeking a full-time Patient Account Representative (PAR) who will primarily be located in our Hackensack office.
You will be seated at the front desk assisting our patients who visit regularly on a weekly basis.
You will know their accounts and demonstrate excellent customer service by attending to their billing, therapy experience and overall satisfaction with our services.
You must have great customer service acumen.
In addition, must be an experienced biller and be able to follow up on accounts.
We use medisoft for billing software.
We are seeking candidates who have good medical billing software skills and be able to read and analyze accounts accurately.
The job requires providing coverage to other office locations in Paramus and Ramsey when necessary to cover vacations and absences of other staff.
You are also required to cover alternating Saturdays.
For this reason, the ideal applicant will have a lifestyle that allows for accommodating the organization's needs for flexibility in their hours.
The position requires that you have your own transportation if we are unable to provide transportation for you, so that you are able to provide coverage at another location when required or will have to attend meetings at specific facilities.
Our clients seek services after school and after work and therefore evenings and Saturdays are our busiest times.
We require that the Patient Account Representative work an afternoon to evening shift on most days and every other Saturday.

Evening shifts usually go until 8PM.
Saturdays usually are until 2pm but sometimes can go into 3PM.
The job is diversified and will keep you interested You will be part of a team of PARs.
Patient Account Representatives are responsible for the following objectives:
Registering and welcoming and orienting new clients into the practice.
Keeping their accounts current.
Interacting with insurance companies on unpaid claims.
Providing excellent customer service to the clients.
Supporting the clinical staff in their work.
Preparing reports for upper management.
Occasionally conducting telephone intakes to match clients to the right provider.
The prior experience required:
Medical office and medical billing or office work requiring updating and collecting on past due accounts; customer service orientation, phone calls, experience with MS Office especially, word and Excel.
The position requires building relationships with our weekly clients.
You will get to know them over time.
You are required to have customer service orientation and assist the new clients with registration and orientation to the practice.
Our practice is unique and cutting edge with provided specialized services.
You will also promote our special program services to our clients.
In addition, you will assist with keeping their accounts current.
The job duties includes scanning new documents, entering charges and payments.
You will be required to contact insurance companies to verify insurance benefits.
You will also assist with obtaining payments from clients and from insurance companies.
You will be required to cover other offices in Paramus or Hackensack if staffing is so required of you.
A car is a requirement of the position.
